"Reading for All" conference inaugurated

Manama, Apr. 24 (BNA): Board of Trustees Chairman of the Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa deputised Education Minister Dr. Majid Al Nuaimi to inaugurate "Reading for All" conference which is organised by the Arab Thought Foundation (ATF) and the Arabian Reading Association (TARA) in the conference hall at Crowne Plaza Hotel. Crown Prince Court President Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij Al Khalifa, ATF Board of Trustees member Khalid Ali Al Turki and a number of officials and educationists also attended. The Education Minister conveyed the greetings of Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to the audience and his wishes of success to the conference. He also thanked Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Mekkah Governor Prince Khalid Al Faisal, the ATF President, for his efforts to set up the foundation which plays a key role for the Arab nation. The Education Minister underlined the importance of the Arabic language in preserving the nation’s identity and building the authentic Arab personality. He stressed the Education Ministry’s efforts to boost reading through a comprehensive strategy aimed at learning and teaching the Arabic language.
