Baku, Azerbaijan, March 7 Trend: Relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia are more than strategic partnership, said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, read a tweet by Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry March 7. The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railroad provides regional connectivity linking East and West, the minister said further. The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is being constructed on the basis of a Georgian-Azerbaijani-Turkish intergovernmental agreement. It is expected to be commissioned in the second half of 2016.
