Report of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry disseminated as document of the UN General Assembly and Security Council

Baku, September 7, AZERTAC A report named “Illegal economic and other activities in Azerbaijan's occupied territories” prepared by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been disseminated as the Document No A/70/1016-S/2016/711 of the UN General Assembly and Security Council, said Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev. The report prepared on the basis of data from Armenian sources was presented to the UN General Assembly in March 2016, Hajiyev said. “The evidences reflected in the report prove the resettlement by Armenia in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, the brutal exploitation of private and state-owned enterprises, the material and cultural monuments, natural and other resources, sustained activity, such as theft and illegal trafficking." "The documents provides fact about illegal economic activities, plunder of natural resources of Nagorno-Karabakh, construction of infrastructure facilities on the occupied lands, production of wines and liquors and other products, as well as illegal activities in ICT and banking sphere, destruction of the cultural and historical monuments and so on," Hajiyev stressed.
