Report given on preparation for ASEM Summit

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A construction of road and transportation issues of the 11th ASEM Summit in UB have been going with 90%, said L.Orgil, a chair of a preparation working group on Tuesday. He said that constructions have been completed for a hall of special guests at the “Chingis Khaan” international airport, other works are being performed as scheduled. Orgil also pointed out that the European Union has decided to send to Mongolia an expert on protocol and organization services at the European Commission for providing advice from February 1 of 2016 until the ASEM Summit. Moreover, it has been planned to run a discussion themed “ASEM and Mongolia’s role” with an aim to learn senior diplomats' experience which may be useful. Consuls of foreign countries in Ulaanbaatar received relevant information, L.Orgil added. He said 44 hotels that will shelter ASEM delegates had asked the government to give them loans of MNT 150 billion for repair and renovation works, of which 77 billion have been issued by the Development Bank of Mongolia, the rest is being discussed.
