Results of Russia’s presidency to be in focus of Putin’s meeting with CIS counterparts

MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold an informal meeting with his counterparts from the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in Moscow on December 26 to discuss results of Russia’s presidency of the organization in 2017 and exchange views on further development of cooperation in various spheres, the Kremlin press service said on Monday. Participants in the meeting will include Presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan, Serzh Sargsyan of Armenia, Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, Nursultan Nazarbayev of Turkmenistan, Sooronbai Zheenbekov of Kyrgyzstan, Igor Dodon of Moldova, Emomali Rakhmon of Tajikistan, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan.
