Rodong Sinmun Discloses Japan's Intention of Supporting THAAD Deployment in S. Korea

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- The chief Cabinet secretary of Japan recently said other countries have no right to criticize the decision of the U.S. and south Korea on THAAD deployment, uttering that the Japanese government supports it. Rodong Sinmun Monday says in a commentary in this regard: The above-said remarks made at a time when media are having a field-day over the decision on THAAD deployment in south Korea and confrontation between regional countries is festering cannot be interpreted otherwise than a revelation of the sinister intention of Japan to draw water to its mill by adding fuel to the flames. The THAAD deployment in south Korea is not a matter limited to the relations between the U.S. and south Korea but the matter related to peace and security in Northeast Asia, to say nothing of the Korean peninsula. The decision on THAAD deployment in south Korea is a product of the U.S. sinister scenario to get military supremacy in the Asia-Pacific region and the vicious moves of the south Korean puppet forces for invading the north, backed by their U.S. master. Japan is now openly escalating military espionage against the DPRK after concluding an agreement on sharing information with the U.S. and south Korea. Lurking behind Japan's unequivocal support for THAAD deployment in south Korea is a cynical ploy to take the daily worsening situation as a good opportunity of justifying its moves for turning itself into a military giant and finally launching its reinvasion. Reinvasion is bound to lead Japan to its second defeat and self-destruction, the commentary warns, urging it to stop recklessly wagging its tongues and mocking the world people and bear in mind that its inveterate bad habit would bring irretrievable disaster to it. -0-
