Pyongyang, August 7 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in an article cites data to expose that now Japan loudly touts a rapid development in economy, culture, science and technology but the world sees Japan which is little different from that of yesterday when militarism was rampant.
The wild ambition of the past Japanese militarists comes true with the desperate efforts of militarists of the modern version, the article says, and goes on:
Militarism is not a specter but actually exists in Japan. It is institutionalized in political, economic, military, cultural and all other fabrics of social life, and the idea poisons a lot of Japanese people. The retrogressive revision of the constitution is what remains to be done finally for the building of a militaristic state.
The revision of the constitution will help Japan's militarism rush into reinvasion. The "civilian"-veiled Abe group and other reactionary conservatives of Japan seek to revive "Empire of Japan" which boasted of its mightiness after occupying the Asian continent.
Japanese militarism has grown to be forces of aggression threatening peace and security in the Asia-Pacific region. The world should keep the highest vigilance against the danger of Japanese militarism that will bring a catastrophic disaster to the region. -0-
