Rodong Sinmun on S. Korea's Moves to Increase Capability for Preemptive Attack upon DPRK

Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- The south Korean warmongers are mulling deploying four transport planes for special infiltration until next year, while seeking to secretly introduce special warfare forces and equipment in a bid to make a "surprise preemptive attack" upon the nuclear and missile facilities of the DPRK. Meanwhile, they disclosed their intention to gradually introduce four ships supporting a special warfare for naval infiltration and 20 special infiltration crafts from 2020 while talking about operation for "disabling nuclear and missile facilities." They are also mulling introducing global hawk while trumpeting about the "quick detection" of signs of "nuclear and missile provocations". Rodong Sinmun Monday in a commentary denounces this as an impudent provocation to bolster up the capability for a preemptive strike at the DPRK. The reality clearly proves that the south Korean ruling forces do not want detente and peace on the Korean peninsula and stability in Northeast Asia but work hard to lead the situation to an extreme phase of a nuclear war, the commentary says, adding: The DPRK has stood for the peace and security on the peninsula and made positive efforts to achieve them. But, the south Korean warmongers have resorted to military provocations while challenging the DPRK's will to preserve peace. It is not hard to guess the consequences to be entailed by them. The south Korean authorities should drop a foolish daydream and stop at once reckless provocations to escalate the tension and ignite a nuclear war. -0-
