Rodong Sinmun Slams Hysteric Saber-rattling of U.S., S. Korean Regime against DPRK

Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) -- South Korean puppet warlike forces recently went mad with drills for blockading the DPRK and striking it from sea together with U.S. and Japanese forces under the pretext of "coping with threat of sub-launched ballistic missiles from the north" as part of the U.S.-led RIMPAC joint military exercises staged in the waters off Hawaii. South Korean puppet forces also staged a drill to rescue pilots from distress together with aircraft of the U.S. Air Force from July 11 to 15. Meanwhile, they allowed the U.S. Navy's super-large nuclear submarine Ohio to enter into Pusan Port. Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Monday says that these war rehearsals were prompted by their dangerous scenario for unleashing a war to stifle the DPRK by force of arms, dead-set against detente and peace. It goes on: The U.S. and the south Korean puppet regime remain unchanged in their black-hearted scenario to put military pressure on the DPRK through their ceaseless war maneuvers under the pretext of "provocation" and "threat" from it and start a war against it by stepping up the preparations for a preemptive nuclear strike at it. The above-said drills were prompted by this scenario. The DPRK is the primary target of the RIMPAC. A litany of rhetoric reeled off by the south Korean puppet regime about "threat of sub-launched ballistic missiles from the north" would not help cover up the aggressive nature of RIMPAC. -0-
