Rohani’s NY Visit Positive, Influential : Official

Tehran, Sept 29, IRNA – Senior advisor to President Saturday evening described the recent visit to New York of President Hassan Rohani as positive and influential. Mohammad Reza Sadeq said the President also brought back a 2,700-year-old Persian silver drinking cup, dating back to Mades Dynasty from US after 10 years. It was presented to the Iranian delegation by the US officials. In a TV interview, Sadeq said the President was the center of attention as soon as he arrived in New York to attend the 68th Session of the UN General Assembly. His speech delivered during the UN General Assembly and the meeting on nuclear disarmament were so profound and well-calculated, he said. He added the Iranian President well presented the Islamic Republic’s stance and attracted international attention. The President returned home from five-day New York visit Saturday./end
