Rohani Appoints Shariatmadari As VP For Executive Affairs

Tehran, Oct 9, IRNA – President Hassan Rohani in a decree on Tuesday appointed Mohammad Shariatmadari as vice-president for executive affairs. The decree reads, “I appoint you as vice-president for executive affairs, based on the Constitutional Article 124 and given your valuable experience and capability as well as managerial record to guide and pursue executive projects.” The president wished him success in serving the Iranian nation and the Islamic Republic of Iran, while adhering to the principles of rule of law, moderation and ethical charter of the government of prudence and hope./end
