Romania considers so-called elections in Nagorno-Karabakh “illegal”

Bucharest, May 6, AZERTAC Romania`s foreign affairs ministry has released a statement condemning the so-called parliamentary elections held by the separatist regime in Azerbaijan`s Armenian-occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region. The ministry called the so-called elections “illegal”, adding Romania does not recognize the independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh. “Official Bucharest supports the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group and its Co-Chairs and calls on the sides to sign a long-term peace agreement,” the statement said.
