"ROSNEFT WANTS TO WIDEN MARKET IN MONGOLIA"

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of the Russian President Vladimir Putin said it during a joint statement on Wednesday within his working visit here. Expressing a satisfaction with visiting Mongolia in coincidence of the 75th anniversary of the Khalkh River Battles Victory, Mr Putin said he and his Mongolian counterpart will reveal soon a perspective for the further cooperation. “This cooperation will focus on creating new joint factories, boosting the bilateral trade and resuming the traditional cooperation,” Mr Putin said. The countries will also cooperate in the air transportation sector, so the parties inked a protocol and memorandum on collaborating in the civil aviation sphere, he added. “Mr Elbegdorj mentioned about an unbalanced situation in the bilateral trade during the official talks. Our countries will work on supplying Mongolian-made products to Russia and cancelling the taxes over agricultural raw materials from Mongolia,” Mr Putin said. Mongolia can supply animal-originated products to Russia if they satisfy sanitary requirements. Mr Putin also underlined an importance of the regional cooperation and said the two Presidents managed to tackle many issues of the economic ties.
