Iranian president says his UN speech will be on behalf of all Iranians

TEHRAN, Sep. 22 (MNA) – Iran’s president has left Tehran for New York to attend the 69th UN General Assembly to deliver a speech on the nation’s behalf. President Rouhani also met with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution ahead of his trip to New York. In the meeting, Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei hoped success for the president. Upon departure, President Rouhani told the reporters that his speech would deliver Iranians’ message to the world. Rouhani will deliver his speech on September 25 as the representative of the Iranians. The Head of Iran’s President Office Mohammad Nahavandian, President's Special Aid Hossein Fereidoun and President’s Cultural Advisor Hesameddin Ashna wil accompany Rouhani in the trip.
