Rouhani Sends Message To Bahrain King On Human Catastrophe In Gaza

Tehran, July 17, IRNA - President Hassan Rouhani sent a message on Wednesday to Bahrainˈs King Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa to condemn the crimes of the Zionist regime against oppressed and defenseless people in Gaza and called for taking immediate action to halt the attack. Bahrain news agency announced on Wednesday that the king has received a message from the Iranian president on the current political developments in the region as well as full-scale attacks of the Zionist forces against people in Gaza. In the message, President Rouhani urged Islamic countries to do their utmost to support the Palestinian nation. Unity and solidarity among Islamic states play a significant role in dealing with the enemiesˈ plots, said President Rouhani. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Marziyeh Afkham told reporters that the President in a message addressed to heads of Islamic states on the current developments in Gaza and atrocities of the Zionist forces against defenseless and oppressed Palestinian people called on leaders of the Islamic states to take immediate action to stop the crimes./end
