Rouhani thanks Iraqi govt. for hospitality during Arbaeen

TEHRAN, Dec. 08 (MNA) – Iranian President Hassan Rouhani expressed gratitude to the Iraqi government and nation for the glorious holding of mourning ceremonies during the Arbaeen ritual. In his statement released on Sunday which was submitted to Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi by Iran's ambassador to Iraq, Dr. Rouhani admired Iraqi government and nation for hospitality, good planning of the religious event and helping maintain the safety of the Iranian pilgrims, taking part in the Arbaeen rallies, marking the 40th day of mourning for Imam Hossein after he was martyred on the day of Ashura.
