Rouhani urges ‘more dynamism’ in Iran-Azerbaijan ties

TEHRAN, May 18 (MNA) – Iran’s Hassan Rouhani said a strong will should bring more dynamism to bilateral ties of Iran and Republic of Azerbaijan. President Rouhani received Bünyad Hüseynov, new Azeri ambassador to Tehran on Tuesday where he emphasized on a strong will in both sides which would bring a new dynamism to bilateral ties, Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported earlier on Tuesday. “Iran and Republic of Azerbaijan have many joint projects agreed which would bring positive turn to bilateral ties; regional crises including extremism and terrorism should be addressed seriously as well,” said the president. Mr. Hüseynov for his part presented Rouhani with his credentials and said that his country had been always in a side to support Iran’s positions in international community; “improvements of bilateral relations will provide both sides with benefits for national interests,” he added.
