Russia ‘will’ spare no efforts to ensure soonest possible settlement of Karabakh conflict

Moscow, September 18, AZERTAC “Russia will spare no efforts to ensure a solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict as soon as possible,” said Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova. “Russia is closely involved in the settlement process, and we are responsible participants in the peace talks," she told a weekly briefing in Moscow. Responding to a question on the resolution the European Parliament on Azerbaijan, she said that specific allegations against specific states should be dealt with on the basis of mutual respect and dialogue rather than through politicized methods.” Describing Russia's relations with Azerbaijan as dynamically developing, Zakharova said: "Azerbaijan is our partner not only in political area, but also in economic and other fields. Dialogue between the two countries at all levels –from relations at the level of Foreign Ministers to the humanitarian ties is very actively developing.”
