Russia cooperates with US in fight against terrorism and on Syria - Putin

MOSCOW, April 14. /TASS/. Russia cooperates well with the United States on several issues, including fighting against terrorism in Syria, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in an annual televised Q&A session officially known as "The Direct Line with Vladimir Putin" on Thursday. "There are examples of such (effective) cooperation (between Russia and US)," Putin said. "They deal with issues of non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, fight against terrorism, resolution of, say, Iranian nuclear problem, chemical weapons in Syria, fight against terrorism in general," he added. Answering a question on which US presidential candidate is worse, Putin suggested "to look for the one which is better." "Over the history of our bilateral relations, there were situations when we worked together very closely and achieved very good results on the national and international levels," the Russian president said.
