Russia to facilitate efforts to resolve conflicts in Middle East - Lavrov

MOSCOW, April 8. /TASS/. Moscow is determined to facilitate efforts to resolve conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa through political and diplomatic means, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, addressing a session of the Russian-Arab Business Council on Monday. "It is particularly important to pool our efforts to achieve goals related to resolving the difficult situation in the Middle East and North Africa, establishing peace and security in this strategic region and creating conditions for the sustainable development of each and every country," the Russian top diplomat pointed out. "Together with our Arab friends, we are determined to facilitate efforts to resolve all conflict solely through political and diplomatic means based on international law and respect for cultural and civilizational diversity, and without foreign interference," Lavrov added.
