Russia hopes to develop cooperation with New Zealand in Asia-Pacific region - Lavrov

DA NANG/Vietnam/, November 8. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has expressed the hope for successful work with New Zealand to develop cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region. "I hope this continuity will help us resolve the issues, which are of interest to our two countries and for regional cooperation," Russia’s top diplomat said at the beginning of his meeting with New Zealand’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Winston Peters. Lavrov referred to the experience of cooperation with Peters when the latter served as Foreign Minister in 2005-2008. "I am glad to welcome you again to our group of ministers," Lavrov added.
