Russia Ready To Help IAEA Inspections Of Iranˈs Nuclear Centers

Moscow, Feb 5, IRNA – Russiaˈs permanent representative in international organizations in Vienna said his country is ready to financially help IAEA to inspect Iranˈs nuclear centers. Vladimir Voronkov told Ria-novesti on Tuesday that Russia is ready to financially support International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) activities in inspecting Iranˈs nuclear centers in the framework of Geneva agreement. He reminded that member states of the IAEA Board of Governors authorized the agency to inspect Iranˈs nuclear centers in the framework of Geneva agreement in November. Voronkov said that during the inspection process, the agency will obtain more information concerning Iranˈs nuclear program. He added that the issue will make it possible to the IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano to ask for a budget. Russian media quoting Amano had already declared that the agency needs 5.5 million dollars extra budget for inspections of Iranˈs nuclear centers./end
