Russian Analyst: Hamas Victory In Gaza, Sign Of Israel Military Weakness

Moscow, Nov 26, IRNA - - President of Russian Foundation of National and International Security General Leonid Shershniev said on Sunday Hamas's victories in Gaza disclosed the military weakness and disability of the Zionists regime. He told IRNA that Israel bombarded Gaza strip with all its forces but could not even trace a part of launched missile fired on its cities from Gaza. Shershiev said Israeli forces were afraid of defeat and sustaining heavy losses, so declined to enter Gaza, which is a sign of Israeli army failure. "Israel was ready for an easy and brilliant military victory to use it as a political credit but after receiving the first missile from Gaza its military commanders revised their plans and announced the results their revision to Prime Minister Netaniahu," he added. The analyst said Hamas's attacks on Israeli cities proved their supremacy over the Zionist regime, therefore it called for a cease fire. Shershniev added that all these developments prove that Israel can only warn not to attack or defend, therefore even its warnings to Iran are empty and baseless bluffs. Pointing to Israel's failures in encountering Hamas, he said all these well prove Zionist regime is weak enough to resist Iran as the most equipped and military developed country, a truth which Israeli officials are well aware of but continue warning Iran. The analyst said Israel is now facing heavy financial and economic problem beside its military weakness, therefore it can not wage a face to face war with Iran./end
