Russian Analyst: Iran, Not A Nuclear Danger

Moscow, Oct 24, IRNA – Head of Russia Social-Political Research Center Vladimir Yuciev said Iran is not a nuclear-missile danger and European sanctions against Iran are not lawful and acceptable. Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, the analyst said that the European Union, by imposing anti-Iran sanctions, has lost a lot and has hurt more to its critical economic situation. He continued that Europeans have the illusion that they are able to destabilize Iran without facing any consequences, but trend of affairs indicated that this impression is not correct. The Russian analyst added that although the sanctions against Iran have a wide range, but with every new sanction, its effects would be less. Although Iran might face problems due to these sanctions maximum for one year, after this period the sanctions would not have any effect on Iran and Europeans will be forced to compromise with Tehran after a while. He explained that Iran will resist against west sanctions and the Iranians have proved this many times. Referring to the west demagogy on existing nuclear threat by Iran, Yuciev said that the USA in direction of securing its interest and under the pretext of Iran missile threat have deployed anti-missile system in the territory of regional countries. He added that west is claiming such things while Iran has not enriched uranium to a level to be able to make an atomic bomb, and even if they could do so, it took 10 years minimum to be able to build an atomic bomb. The Russian analyst said that execution of step by step plan is the best choice for west to continue negotiation with Iran, but, unfortunately, we witness that the westerners are eluding any agreement with Iran. He reminded that we should pay attention that Iran sanctions will have a negative effects on neighboring countries too, while a number of them are not paying attention to this issue./end
