Russian analyst: Iran nuclear case must be resolved indiscriminately

Moscow, Jan 11, IRNA – Former deputy speaker of the Russian State Duma said on Saturday that Iran demands no more than its legitimate nuclear rights, adding that the Iranian nuclear case must be resolved indiscriminately. 'During the recent years in the course of the nuclear talks with Iran the West has in numerous occasions tried to breach Iran's nuclear rights, which has been the reason why in most cases the negotiations have ended without achieving tangible results,' Sergei Baburin said in an interview with IRNA correspondent in Moscow. He gave example of the last November talks in which tangible progress was achieved in Iran-Sextet and no more than one last step had remained to its final resolving. 'The Iranian foreign minister was like the previous round of talks in November 2014, ready to achieve results and sign the comprehensive agreement and had therefore participated in the talks with a resolute will,' he said. Baburin said that it was the American side that under the foreign pressure tries to delay the signing of the final agreement and lack of progress was quite unrelated to Iran. The Russian analyst cited Iran's full cooperation with the UN nuclear watchdog aimed at resolving the outstanding issues as a big sign for Tehran's good faith to resolve the nuclear dispute.
