Russian analyst reiterates Iran’s role in resolving regional crises

Moscow, July 18, IRNA -- Director-General of the Center for Studies of Modern Iran in Russia Rajab Safarov announced that Iran should be participated in the negotiations in order to pave the way for resolving the Middle East’s problems. “Iran is the big power of the Middle East and the problems of this region will not be settled without Iran’s active participation,” Safarov said on Saturday. He underlined that the US is trying to remove its differences with Iran because the Islamic Republic is the Middle East’s big power. Safarov commented on the allegations by some Arab countries and the Zionist regime that Iran has tried to gain access to atomic weapon, and said, “Iran has never had making atomic bomb on its agenda because it considers making this kind of weapon prohibited.”
