Russian Analyst: US Unable To Attack Iran

Moscow, Feb 16, IRNA - - President of the Russian Institute for North America and Canada Studies Sergey Rogov on Wednesday said that the US is unable to attack Iran because of its numerous domestic and foreign crises. He told IRNA that US is still involved with the consequences of its critical economic and financial crises and the differences of views among US decision and policy makers which would not let it think about attacking any other country. “US legs are still stuck in Afghan and Iraq swamplands, and therefore it is still weak to risk to and get engaged in another fight with Iran,” Rogov said. He that said any of the US officials well know that if they would risk to start a fight, they will be the looser of both the domestic presidential campaign and in their campaign at the international scene. The analyst said that the probable US aggression against Iran can lead to a sharp increase in oil prices in international markets and therefore the US weaknesses and its crises-stricken economy will receive the main blow of the wrong decision./end
