Russian, Bolivian presidents adopt statement following Kremlin talks

MOSCOW, June 13. /TASS/. Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Evo Morales of Bolivia have adopted a joint statement on partnership in global affairs following their Kremlin talks. The two leaders "identified ways to boost cooperation between Russia and Bolivia, promote joint approaches at multilateral forums, highlighted the importance of the rule of law in global affairs and the need for constant efforts aimed at ensuring global peace and stability, sustainable development and human rights." The presidents also confirmed mutual interest in expanding bilateral trade and investment ties, particularly by implementing big joint projects. The heads of state called for intensifying contacts between the two countries’ business circles. Putin and Morales expressed interest in cooperating in environment and water resources protection, as well as in the use of Russia’s technical achievements and Bolivia’s experience in this area in order to preserve and restore nature. Besides, the parties emphasized the need for cooperation in resolving issues concerning social welfare, occupational safety and employment relationship.
