Russian, Chinese prime ministers discuss bilateral relations at meeting in Astana

ASTANA, December 15. /TASS/. Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and China’s Prime Minister Li Keqiang discussed bilateral relations on Monday before a meeting of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation countries’ prime ministers. “Meetings similar to today’s, on the sidelines of summits and premier meetings of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation offer opportunities to exchange comments on the current affairs, on our bilateral relations, to outline development directions, including those related to development of the Shanghai Organisation, and to task about our bilateral relations,” Medvedev said. The Russian prime minister said during the recent visit of China’s prime minister to Russia, they had the 19th regular meeting of premiers. “You participated in our Open Innovations forum, and thank you for that once again. I believe, it was interesting. We signed a big package of documents on all aspects of our cooperation. Now we are working on their implementation,” Medvedev said. The national delegations, representing ministries and state agencies, were present at the meeting between Medvedev and Li. Read more
