Russian, Kyrgyz presidents discuss preparations for Putin’s visit to Kyrgyzstan

MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov have discussed the preparations for the Russian leader’s official visit to Kyrgyzstan, the Kremlin press service reported on Thursday after a telephone conversation between the two state leaders. "Current issues of the further development of bilateral cooperation and the preparations for the upcoming state visit of the Russian president to Kyrgyzstan were discussed," the report says. "During the telephone conversation the two state leaders discussed current issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation and shared their positions on the previously reached agreements, as well as [discussed] Putin’s upcoming visit to the Kyrgyz Republic," the Kyrgyz president’s press service earlier reported. According to the Kyrgyz side, the Russian president’s visit to Bishkek will take place in late March this year. Read more
