Russian Mufti Hails Iranˈs Efforts To Establish Unity Among Muslims

Moscow, Jan 18, IRNA – Deputy of Russian Council of Muftis (RCM) Demir Muhidinov on Saturday hailed Iranˈs efforts to create unity in the Islamic world and eliminate Muslims differences. Speaking to IRNA here, Mudidinove said Iranˈs efforts to establish unity among the Shiite and Sunni Muslims go be considered a model for bringing unity to the Islamic world. The mufti added holding international conferences and forums are not enough for strengthening friendship and unity among Muslims. He noted that Muslim countries shouldered a heavy burden for leading unity-seeking movements in the Islamic world./end
