Russian President Hopes Iran-G5+1 Talks To Bear Result

Moscow, Nov 21, IRNA – Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed the hope that the ongoing talks between Iran and the six world powers (the US, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany) will yield positive results. The Russian president’s remarks came after his meeting with Israeli Prime Benjamin Netanyahu in Moscow and speaking to reporters on Wednesday. “As the consultations between Iran and the Group 5+1 (the five permanent members of UN Security Council plus Germany) showed finding a solution is possible and we are optimistic about it,” President Putin said. The Russian president pointed to his meeting with Netanyahu, and said, “With the Israeli prime minister we discussed the situation of Iran’s nuclear situation in detail.” “I hope that an acceptable solution for settling Iran’s nuclear case will be found in the near future,” Putin added./end
