S. African Anti-apartheid Archbishop In Tehran

Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA – South African anti-apartheid Archbishop Desmond Tutu arrived in Tehran on Sunday. Former UN secretary-general Kofi Annan also arrived in the Iranian capital Sunday morning. Annan is in Tehran heading a high-ranking delegation consisting of former Finnish president and Nobel Prize winner Martti Oiva Kalevi Ahtisaari, Nobel Prize winner, peace activist and one of the anti-apartheid leaders in South Africa Tutu and former Mexican president Ernesto Zedillo. Annan and his accompanying delegation will hold meetings with senior Iranian officials on latest regional and international developments./end
