S African president arrives in Tehran

TEHRAN, Apr. 24 (MNA) – The President of South Africa Jacob Zuma arrived in Tehran leading a 180-people top-ranking political-economic delegation. Presidnet Zuma was welcomed by Iranian Deputy-FM for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian at Mehrabad International Airport. The trip is being made within the framework of expanding and boosting multilateral relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and South Africa making a landmark in the ties between the two countries. Jacob Zuma is heading a 180-strong delegation consisting of public and private sectors to Tehran. Zuma is scheduled to conduct meetings with Iranian officials on numerous issues including reinvigoration of bilateral regional and international relations. Several economic and trade documents will be inked during the meeting of Iranian and South African presidents.
