S. Leader’s Consultant: Foreign Hands Involved In Instability Of Currency Mart

Gorgan, Golestan Prov, Oct 6, IRNA – Supreme Leader’s Consultant and Tehran Constituency MP in the Islamic Parliament Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel said here Friday that foreigners’ hands were involved in the instability of hard currency in Iran. Speaking with an IRNA Economic Desk reporter in an exclusive interview, Haddad Adel added, “A part of this instability is due to psychological war and another part is because of mismanagement, while the resistance economy and national production must be the paradigm for our economic recovery.” He informed that the government, too, is now adopting special measures aimed at solving the emerged problem, adding, “In order to control the hard currency market’s sharp fluctuations the government has categorized the currency rates allocated to various matters, and for instance, the state price for a US dollar allocated to food and medicine imports is 12,260 rials.” He added, “This problem would be solved as soon as possible in full cooperation between the government and the Parliament.” This member of the Parliament’s Higher Education Commission emphasized, “The Iranian nation would emerge victorious in encountering the psychological war by the enemy, and the new plot hatched by them in our gold coin and hard currency market, too, would be dismantled by grace of God.” The Tehran Constituency MP referring to the economic pressure imposed by the enemies against our national economy said, “The enemies had better realize that the Iranian nation would never abandon its Islamic Revolution due to economic pressure.” Haddad-Adel added, “The Iranian nation’s motto is the same as Imam Hussain’s motto ‘I would never yield to living a wretched life.” He reiterated, “The global oppression makes a grave mistake by assuming that the Iranian nation would due to economic pressure turn their backs on their Islamic Revolution, but as the Supreme Leader has said, we would implement the resistance economy in our country that would rid our economy of dependence on the foreigners.” Haddad-Adel reiterated, “The anti-revolutionary BBC satellite TV every night in its economic news edition announces the up to minute increases in hard currency rates, arguing that it is the result of the western imposed economic sanctions, adding that the Iranian people have become indifferent about their leader.” He added, “They intend to convey the idea that the people have lost hope in the revolution’s competence in solving their problems, but the wise Iranian nation that has not yielded to the enemy’s demands during the course of 33 years of sanctions, would this time too, dishearten the enemy by their staunch resistance.” Turning to the defiant stands of the Supreme Leader regarding the nuclear energy issue, he said, “The leadership of the system knows well that this issue is merely a pretext and has time and again told the Iranian nation, ‘Do not assume that if we would totally halt our nuclear activities they would be pleased with us. No! That would just mark the beginning of their new rounds of pressure against us. Therefore, our taking of one step back would be the beginning of their further totalitarian policies; greater pressure would be ahead of us in that case for sure.” The reprehension of Tehran at the Parliament added, “What a wretched world we are living in, in which the regime of Israel, which has not signed the nuclear NPT, horrifies the world nations of Iran’s non-existent bomb!” Haddad-Adel stressed that the racist Zionist regime is equipped with several nuclear warheads and under such conditions it is a pity that Netanyahu presents the drawing of a bomb at the UN, accusing Iran of trying to acquire it.” He said at the end that the Iranian nation, obeying the orders issued by the Supreme Leader, would dismantle the entire plots hatched by the global oppressors and move forward in this field, too, as a pioneer./end
