Salehi Expresses Hope Nuclear Issue Ends Up In Win-win Solution

Tehran, Aug 18, IRNA – Irans new Head of Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi expressed hope that the new administration of President Hassan Rohani could manage Irans nuclear issue in such a way that it ends up in a win-win solution. Speaking to the reporters on Saturday, Salehi said, We believe that the issue is fake and there is no justification for the pressures imposed on the Iranian nation. Salehi said legal problems of the issue were resolved to some extent during the time when President Rohani was in charge of the case and technical problems were resolved during the time of 6-article Modality. He expressed hope that the issue would be solved politically given the rationality being shown by the other side. On his plans at the AEO, Salehi said his first priority is building new nuclear plants to generate electricity. On Bushehr Nuclear Plant, Salehi stressed that safety is the first priority and the plant would not be handed over to Iran before AEO is quite certain about its safety./end
