Salehi: Iran To Move Ahead In N-technology With Greater Pace

Tehran, Feb 10, IRNA – Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Ali Akbar Salehi said Iran is to move ahead with its nuclear activities with greater spead in future. Addressing a gathering of Iranian Air Force commanders and personnel here on Monday, he assured that Iran is not to lose any bit of its nuclear technology achievements. He said any halts or hesitations in nuclear-related issues are definitely deliberate and well-calculated. Salehi added that if Iran sees any violations of commitments on the part of its partners in nuclear talks regarding the 20-percent enrichment, it will return to its first place within hours. Stressing that he foresees a bright future for the country, Salehi explained that Iran is persisting on resolving its nuclear issue with the ultimate aim of fostering the Non-Proliferation Treaty because it is actually acting as the voice of 120 developing countries by insisting on its nuclear rights. Referring to the US schemes and the recent remarks of American officials, he said they have targeted the national consensus existing in Iran over the nuclear issue without knowing that the Iranians are much wiser than them. Salehi stressed that Iran will surely pass safely through the present phase by relying on wisdom and logic./end
