Salehi Predicts Bright Future For Iran-Turkey Ties

Tehran, Nov 28, IRNA – Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi in a meeting with visiting Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Naji Koru here on Sunday said future of Tehran-Ankara relations is bright and positive. Pointing to the two neighboring countries’ friendly relations and lifting of visa requirement for visiting citizens of the two countries, he expressed pleasures with the amicable consular relations between the two sides. “While some invisible hands are at work to sabotage ties between the two countries we must not pay any attention to them,” Salehi said. Kuru said Iran-Turkey relations are growing and there is no consular problem in this respect for the two nations and states. He expressed hope the two countries would further expand ties and cooperation in the future./end
