LAUSANNE, March 25. /TASS/. The formal lifting of sanctions against Iran could take place in several stages, but in practice these restrictive measures will be suspended as soon as the negotiating parties come to an agreement. This is the way to resolve one of the most pressing issues around Iran’s nuclear program, a source in the Western delegation told TASS. "A number of compromise solutions on the points of contention, including sanctions, are on the table," the source said. One of the options suggests that the restrictive measures against Iran be suspended, and they will de facto cease to be effective, although preserved formally." "As soon as the world community is convinced that Iran honors its commitments, the sanctions will be lifted," he added.
