Baku, Azerbaijan, Apr. 21 By Umid Niayesh - Trend: Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Iran ’s deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs has forecast that the Saudi Arabia-led collation’s air strikes in Yemen will stop in the next few hours. Amir Abdollahian made the remarks in a press conference with his counterparts from Syria and Switzerland on April 21, Iran ’s state-run IRINN TV reported live. The Iranian diplomat did not unveil further information on the issue, expressing hope that his prediction would become clear in the next few hours. An international military operation kicked off on March 26 in Yemen against Iran-backed Houthis, with involvement of the armed forces of a number of Arab states led by Saudi Arabia. The Shiite rebels have taken control of several cities and are assaulting the port of Aden, where Yemeni President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi had been based before fleeing to Riyadh.
