SECOND TRILATERAL MEETING RUNS IN UFA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the fields of the 15th Summit of heads of states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, being held in Ufa, the Second trilateral meeting of the leaders of Mongolia, Russia and China ran on July 9. The Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj proposed establishing a research center in Ulaanbaatar that will be responsible for conducting feasibility and investments studies for joint projects of infrastructure and investments, implemented by the three countries. A total of four key documents were signed during the meeting, the legal foundations of further cooperation. The first one is the Medium term layout of cooperation between Mongolia, the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China, which sets out the further perspectives of cooperation in economy, politics, culture and humanities, as well as in regional and international relations. At Mongolia's request, this document also reflects details about trade and economic cooperation, about increasing transit transports through Mongolia considering the increased trade volume between our two neighbors. The layout also includes some solutions regarding trade alleviations, utilization of national currencies in trades, and promoting cooperation between the affiliated agencies in charge of trad and economic relations. The second one is the Memorandum of Understanding on Establishing Economic Corridor through Mongolia, Russia and China. The next one has been established among customs agencies of the three countries--the General Agreement on creating favorable environment for promoting trade development. The fourth one is the Agreement on cooperation in border ports' development. The trilateral meeting mechanism was initiated by the Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj, the first meeting ran September 11 of 2014 in Dushanbe of Tajikistan.
