Senior Cleric: Americans Abuse Iran’s FM Decency

Tehran, Feb 8, IRNA – Tehran’s Friday Prayers Substitute Leader Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Movahedi Kermani said Americans are abusing Iran’s Foreign Ministerˈs decency and calm attitudes and have become more disrespectful in the negotiations. ˈThe more politeness Iranian Foreign Minister shows in the negotiations, the more impudent the American side becomes,ˈ said Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani. In the second sermon, Ayatollah Movahedi Kermani, in reaction to impolite and impudent remarks of the US Secretary of States John Kerry and his deputy Wendy Sherman said that this kind of literature deserve themselves. Referring to Wendy Shermanˈs remarks that Iran distributed our money between the poor, the ayatollah said that the money belonged to Iran which was stolen by the US. ˈThis is a kind of theft. You have stolen our money and now because of the talks, you are returning part of our money and you call it ˈour moneyˈ. Tehran Substitute Friday Prayers Leader continued that the Americansˈ expectations have become very high; they say it is not just the issue of nuclear program and that they will consider ballistic missiles, too. They also say that the two persons responsible for unrest in year 2009 should be released from house arrest. They say that Iran should not support terrorists and they means Hezbollah; a group who are defending their independence, dignity and religion are terrorist in the US view point and Iran’s support for them is an offense. The ayatollah stressed that they say Iran is an element of instability in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Gaza, Afghanistan and Bahrain. ˈWhatever is happening in these countries is the consequence of your crimes; you gathered a number of Syrian enemies to decide about this country,ˈ the aytollah said addressing the US government. The senior cleric said that they say sanctions lifting is reversible and that during the next six months they continue to impose pressures on Iran’s economy. ˈSo, with these baseless words and accusations, should Iran not shout “Down with the US”, asked the senior cleric. Addressing the Americans, the ayatollah said,ˈYou are negotiating with us and this kind of talks and threats is not suitable in negotiations.ˈ ˈYou supported Saddam regime for eight years in the imposed war and finally all of you were defeated,ˈ said the ayatollah. Our brothers in 33-day, 22-day and 8-day wars defeated the Zionist regime, while everybody knew that the US was supporting them and ensuring their security and still they could not do anything./end
