Senior MP Urges EP To Listen To Real Voice O Iranians

Tehran, June 15, IRNA – Chairman of Iranˈs parliamentary friendship group with the European Parliament Kazem Jalali on Sunday criticized anti-Iran statement issued by European Parliament and urged EP members to listen to the real voice of Iranians and control extremist moves. Jalali made the remarks in a meeting here with the visiting chairman of the European Parliament Foreign Affairs Committee Elmar Brok. Felicitating Brok on his re-election as the member of the European Parliament, Jalali hoped that the European body should further serve both the region and entire world with its new members. Criticizing the European Parliamentˈs anti-Iran statement in April, Jalali said new European Parliament had better listen to the words of real Iranian people and authorities. He stressed the need for preparing the grounds for establishing new relations between the Iranian and European parliaments. Jalali said problems can be solved more easily through negotiations and rationalism. He stressed that the government of President Hassan Rouhani was pursuing policies based on wisdom and negotiations at the international level./end
