Several Nuclear Sabotage Acts Foiled : Salehi

Tehran, Oct 6, IRNA – Head of Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi said that a number of nuclear sabotage acts have been foiled in a nuclear center in the past few days. He said that four people have been arrested in this connection and their interrogations are going on. Addressing a gathering here on Sunday, he noted that officials were informed of sabotage activities of a number of people in nuclear sites. Officials had monitored and then arrested a number of saboteurs before they could carry out their plan, he added. He said they were arrested in due time after enough information was gathered about the details of their activities. He stressed that all activities by the saboteurs were fully monitored. Stressing that the coming months are very sensitive for Iran, he said a number of big achievements are to be disclosed in the country in near future./end
