SGK about programs excluded from State Budget

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The State Great Khural ran the first reading of a parliamentary resolution--a follow-up of the amended budget laws--on its plenary meeting on January 23. The resolution addresses the financing of projects and programs with 80 percent or higher completion under the funding of the state budget, through issuance of bank acceptances. It also considers obligating the cabinet to run assessments on the regulations and directions regarding the permitted amount of operational costs for state authorities, and on the decisions to continue and select the projects to be implemented, after careful assessment on their proposals. The Standing committee on budget issued a procedural vote to adopt the resolution on its first reading. This was supported by 82.6 percent of the MPs at the meeting. Thus, the follow-up resolution to the amendments to the budget laws was approved with 87 percent vote.
