Singapore DPRK-U.S. Summit Hailed

Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- Political parties and figures of different countries welcomed the DPRK-U.S. summit in Singapore. The Czechoslovak Communist Party in a statement said: We warmly congratulate Comrade Kim Jong Un, Supreme Leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on having opened a new turning phase for building a lasting and durable peace-keeping regime on the Korean Peninsula and achieving the reunification of the country as desired by the Korean nation through the meeting and talks with Donald J. Trump, president of the United States of America. Comrade Kim Jong Un showed the whole world that the Korean people are the most peace-loving people. The world came to know better about the desire of the Korean people for peace. We extend full support to the DPRK's efforts for resolving the issue of the Korean Peninsula. The Socialist Workers' Party of Croatia said in its statement: We fully support a joint statement adopted at the talks. We highly appreciate the Korean people's struggle to defend the sovereignty. And we wish them greater success in building a powerful socialist country. Vijay Jolly, senior leader of the Indian People's Party, extended heartfelt congratulations to HE Kim Jong Un, Supreme Leader of the Korean people, who made great contribution to ensuring peace and security in the Korean Peninsula and the world. -0-
