Skeleton of Tyrannosaurs Bataar arrives

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 70 million-year old fossil skeleton of Tyrannosaurs Bataar arrived last Friday night in Ulaanbaatar. It has been delivered by the Korean Airlines after the Mongolian side had signed a document on receiving it in New York on May 6. Present at the receiving event were P.Tsagaan, a head of the Presidential Office; Ch.Saikhanbileg, a head of the Cabinet Secretariat for Government; Ts.Oyugerel, the Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism; and officials from police and insurance. Expressing a satisfaction with getting back the fossil skeleton, Ch.Saikhanbileg congratulated those who made great efforts to all the process and said that additional 20 skeletons of dinosaurs will be returned soon. Boxed in seven pieces, the skeleton will be stored in bonded warehouse temporarily to be showed on the Sukhbaatar square on June 1 for the Day of Children.
