S.Leader Acknowledges Moderation At Endorsement Ceremony

Tehran, Aug 4, IRNA – Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Saturday acknowledged moderation at the endorsement ceremony of president Hassan Rohani. Ayatollah Khamenei said that Islam recommended the Muslims to follow moderation in every aspect of life. Moderation, the slogan of Rohani in the election campaign, brought landslide victory for the president. The Supreme Leader voiced his strong support for the president and thanked the public for taking part in the June presidential election. President Rohani, outgoing president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani, the cabinet members and state and military officials were present in the ceremony./end
