S.Leader Pardons, Commutes Prison Terms Of 1,249 Inmates

Tehran, June 23, IRNA – On the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of the last Imam of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) Infallible Household, Imam Mahdi (May God Hasten His Reappearance), Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Saturday pardoned or commuted prison terms of 1,249 inamtes. The amnesty was granted upon a request by Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani for the convicts sentenced by the Public and Revolutionary Courts./end
