S.Leader : Unity Around Axis Of Prophet Of Islam Should Be Reflected In Hajj

Tehran, Sept 25, IRNA – Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said here on Monday that enemies' divisive plot to escape from Muslim Ummah’s wrath, unity on the axis of the Holy Prophet and disavowal of the Prophet’s enemies should be the routine practice of pilgrims during Hajj rituals. Addressing officials in charge of Hajj affairs, the Supreme Leader condemned insult to Holy Prophet of Islam, saying this year’s Hajj is exceptional and different from the previous ones. Ayatollah Khamenei said the proper reflection of Muslim Ummah's unity due to the Holy Prophet of Islam and all Muslims’ deep hatred of the global arrogance should be displayed in Hajj. “This is the real sense of disavowal of the pagans.” The Paramount Leader said the move by the global arrogance and its allies in insulting Holy Prophet of Islam shows their deep animosity, hostility and hatred of the Prophet. “The stance taken by western policy makers on the sacrilegious act is not different from their hostile stance.” Insult to Holy Prophet of Islam and the stance taken by the camp of arrogant powers betrayed their true nature and showed the main axis of confrontation between the right and wrong, said the Supreme Leader, adding that the insult showed that the camp of arrogant powers is principally against Islam and the Holy Prophet. Referring to Muslims’ uprising in Muslim countries and even in the US and Europe against the insult, Ayatollah Khamenei said the Muslim world’s tribute to the Holy Prophet and its deep hatred of enemies created a strange and very important scene, revealing the big capacity of Muslim Ummah. Holy Prophet of Islam is the common point of all Muslims following different schools of thought, said Ayatollah Khamenei. On the scene, added the Supreme Leader, being a Shiite or Sunni, a hardliner or moderate is not important and all have come on the scene wholeheartedly because the Prophet is the axis divine and Islamic ideology. Saying the unity revolving around the Great Prophet and disavowal of his enemies is a must and of great significance during Hajj rituals, Ayatollah Khamenei said disavowal of pagans means all Muslims feel duty bound to stand up to their common enemy and show their disavowal of it. Ayatollah Khamenei said all Muslims should support the Prophet’s cause of monotheism, Islam and Quran and use Hajj rituals as an opportunity to show their love for him. Warning Muslim Ummah against dangerous plots of dividing Muslims, Ayatollah Khamenei said enemies of religion particularly the global arrogance should know that Muslim Ummah, despite their difference of opinion and believing in different sects and schools of thought, are standing united against them. “We should not allow the camp of arrogance to save itself from the wrath of Muslim Ummah through their divisive plots.” /end
